1st shift, full time - 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.  Hohman Plating is located at 814 Hillrose Avenue, Dayton, Ohio  45404 SUMMARY OF JOB

Keeps processing plant, offices, and grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.  The candidate is expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow Hohman Plating standards for safety and conduct.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, aisles and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.  Cleans restrooms.
• Cleans office windows and doors.
• Empties trash and garbage containers into dumpsters.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, and other related maintenance activities. Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
• Mows lawn, trims shrubbery.
• Documents completed tasks and findings on checklists and work orders
• Provides support to Maintenance Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to dangerous chemicals, including exposure to fumes or airborne particles below OSHA permissible limits.  Frequently exposed to high heat, humid conditions and potential extreme cold.  Employee will be frequently exposed to loud sounds, below the OSHA permissible limits.
