LINQUEST CORPORATION Senior Security Specialist I in Dayton, Ohio
Description LinQuest is seeking a Senior Security Specialist I to join our team onsite in our office in Dayton, Ohio. A DoD Secret clearance is required. This is a multidisciplinary security position requiring a self-sustaining qualified security professional. The primary mission is to mitigate risk and promote the safety and security of company personnel and assets, and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests. As a security analyst, the individual will assist the site Facility Security Officers (FSO) with the implementation of security processes necessary to protect classified information with strict adherence to 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and other applicable Executive Orders and Department of Defense (DoD) manuals and regulations. This position requires a current DoD security clearance at a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated LinQuest facility. Responsibilities: Aid the security team supporting all aspects of the security program(s) with strict compliance with government, customer, and company security policies utilizing the NISPOM, ICDs, Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/1 and DoDM 5105.21 Volumes 1-3 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community Maintain/initiate personnel security records and clearances for collateral and SCI related programs to include the use of Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) system. Ability to multi-task a variety of complex and in-depth tasks across multiple sites Availability to respond to after-hour alarms and emergency conditions Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure understanding of program operations requirements. Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC related support Contribute to internal self-inspections and customer security reviews Oversee and assist with classified meetings, coordinating with meeting host(s) Support the physical security of the facility, to include badging, visitor processing, access control and onsite security activities Assist with security containers program, provide custodian/user training, ship and receive classified material Assist with updating and implementing security policies and procedures Required Skills: Demonstrated Security experience (evidenced through work experience, college coursework, military or on-the-job training) Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS access. 3 - 5+ years of experience as a Security Professional Working knowledge of and experience with the NISPOM, as well as, other national level security directives. Demonstrated knowledge utilizing DISS/NBIS and SWFT Customer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision. Ability to work well under pressure, possess good problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to enforce policies in a professional and personable manner A proficient briefer capable of training large numbers of personnel Highly organized and have advanced oral & written communication skills, strong computer skills in MS Suite Ability to work independently or in group settings Critically analyze situations and use good judgment to solve compl
