We are currently seeking a full-time Professional Engineer / Professional Surveyor for our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and clients. Pay: $102,000 - 135,000 PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER / SURVEYOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Project management responsibilities including: - Preparing scopes of work and estimates for engineering and survey projects. - Developing project quality control and quality assurance processes. - Planning, scheduling and coordinating technical aspects of projects. - Performing professional review of project deliverables. - Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders. - Engaging regularly with clients to discuss current projects, evaluate performance and identify other client project needs. * Perform analysis for complex boundary surveys and prepare associated plats and boundary descriptions. * Perform advanced calculations involving field survey data. * Prepare surveyor's reports, legal descriptions, closure calculations and other documentation as required. * Use Civil 3D to design and produce drawings. * Maintain a strong working knowledge of the client's standards. * Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Additional Responsibilities and Duties: * Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D required; Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred. * Working knowledge of field instrumentation, GPS and robotic total stations. * Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment and innovative ideas. * Some regional travel possible. * Other duties as assigned.
