Actalent Production Planner in Dayton, Ohio
Job Title: Production PlannerJob Description
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, including daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to meet customer demand. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to align production plans with project requirements. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes in demand. Release production orders as needed or work towards automating this process to increase efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and manage material requirements to avoid shortages or excesses. Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. Prepare and present production reports to management. Implement and maintain production planning software and tools. Document and standardize processes for Kanban and inventory sizing calculations. Ensure consistent application of these processes across all relevant departments.
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the electromechanical or electrical components industry
Experience using SAP
Job Type
