Network Administrator Job Locations US-OH-WPAFB ID 2024-8076 Category Other Type Regular Full-Time Overview Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Security Office Network Administrator who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Security & Foreign Disclosure Office (AFIT/SR) at WPAFB, OH. The mission of the AFIT/SR office is to ensure compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense requirements for five distinct information protection professional security service functional areas: Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Industrial Security (INDSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Special Security Representative Support. AFIT Security & Foreign Disclosure Goals include: Improving Curriculum and Delivery Expanding Research and Consultation Enhancing Student Recruitment, Experience, and Operations Staff and Faculty Advancement Improving Strategic Communication Improving Physical and Digital Infrastructure Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day IT operations of AFIT's teaching and research laboratories within the special security and collateral classified facilities. Provide personnel to support for four classified networks encompassing two local stand-alone networks for research, and IT administrator support for Special Security Office Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) (Top Secret) and AF SIPR (collateral SECRET) networks operated by AFIT. Support the 88th Communications Group in performance of SIPRNET maintenance, hardware management, software control, and account creation/management, and they support National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) requirements in the management of JWICS capabilities. Ensure compliance with facility accreditation requirements and must maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity. Supports the AFIT Security Office with security administration, including validation of clearances, and access control for all classified facilities. Provide physical security oversight and train and maintain a working knowledge of the Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). Monitor personnel access requirements within Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) or successor system and, enable access to the Special Security Office and Collateral Classified Facility. Provide network solutions as well as support of all hardware/software needs and configurations requested by students, faculty, and staff within the facilities. Maintain/operate the VTC systems and have sufficient DoD and/or private sector experience in information security, computer networking, and system administration. Qualifications Clearance: Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance MS/MA degree in Computer Science, or related field with Security + or Network + BS/BA degree with Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification Demonstrate understanding of information protection processes and enforce marking, storage, movement, and introduction of information and people for DoD classified facilities process visit authorizations for researchers, students, sponsors, faculty and staff while executing program management responsibilities Experience with DoD or Corporate regulations/governance structures in compliance and accreditation operations, be able to integrate new software and equipment into operations Demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking concepts and possess good troubleshooting skill as related to network management and general technical repair of systems and networks Proficiency in customer support as related to student, faculty, and staff Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level II (Security+) baseline
