Responsibilities MTSI is seeking an experienced Network and Security Administrator to support a digital transformation initiative with our AFRL customer in Dayton OH. You will be responsible for assisting in the overall design and implication of a complex multi-security level, multi-domain environment. You will need to map standards for various network appliance, system and server roles to be used across the multiple domains and then implement those standards with little to no assistance. You will install, configure and implement tools for functions such as, firewalls, switches, web-proxies, patching, backups, logging, and scanning. Additionally, you will support application setup and administration, troubleshooting, security administration, access control, and integration between systems. Individuals best suited for this role must be able to work autonomously and possess the ability to find and solve complex problems as well as assist others with solving IT problems they are facing. They should also enjoy problem solving and be able to cope with sudden changes in taskings. Ideally this candidate would possess a wide range of experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of both cloud native and on-premise systems. Responsibilities: Will be responsible for the continued updates to the network design and configuration of a unique complex enterprise IT solution. Responsible for the design of standards, installation, and implementation of specialized equipment of network and server roles across multiple domains. Responsible for hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Install, configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco and Dell managed switchesrouters. Install, configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco Firewalls. Install, configure, manage, and upgrade forward and reverse proxies.
