MRA - The Management Association Kit Assembler in Dayton, Ohio

Job Title: Kit Assembler Company: Triad Technologies Location: Vandalia, OH Summary: Assemble product per customer requirements/industry standards with the emphasis on sub-assemblies or kit assemblies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following (other duties may be assigned): Assemble product per drawing, specifications, or BOMs with the emphasis on kit assemblies (i.e. hose kits, component assemblies, extrusion kits, lubrication assemblies, etc.) Prioritize build schedules based upon production schedules or required dates. Communicate production improvement ideas or issues to management. Work in warehouse as needed to achieve customer service levels Assist in training new personnel as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience -- High school or GED; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Reasoning Ability -- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral and pictorial form. Computer Skills -- Must have basic computer skills. Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Language Skills -- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to customers, and other employees in the organization. Other Qualifications: Specific qualifications for this position include: Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds Must have fabrication and circuitry experience Must have own personal tools to use Scoring a 70% or better on the Mechanical aptitude test is desirable. Skills required for the job include (can be trained): Industrial Hydraulic Technologies 1 and 2, Hydraulic maintenance technology, pneumatic circuitry, tube bending, painting, grinding, welding, plumbing, and forklift.
