Job Title: Electric Field Service Technician
Job Description
We design and build servo and mechanical presses ranging from 30 to 4,000 metric ton capacity to support the automotive industry. The Electric Field Service Technician will travel to customer locations to install, repair, and troubleshoot stamping presses.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations, primarily within 2 hours of the facility, to install, repair, and troubleshoot stamping presses.
Follow blueprints, work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions to adjust, fit, and align equipment to customer specifications.
Work alongside riggers who will handle heavy lifting.
Communicate and provide feedback to customers to improve customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience and/or schooling in a related field.
Proficiency in electrical wiring, including wiring equipment/machines up to 480v.
Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs, with working knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLCs.
Ability to assemble, build, and rebuild capital/production equipment according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associates degree in a technical field or vocational degree preferred, but not required.

Work Environment
Our 180,000 sq ft facility is clean, organized, and climate controlled. Technicians will travel to various automotive manufacturers, so the work environment will vary. Currently, we have a team of 20 field service technicians.
