Clinical Pharmacist Dayton Children's Hospital - Retail Pharmacy Dayton, Ohio Excellent work schedule - Monday through Friday- Days! As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions LLC Clinical Pharmacist at Dayton Children's Hospital - Retail Pharmacy, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. We are seeking highly motivated and customer service-oriented pharmacy professionals who want to elevate their career to the next level. We are currently conducting a search for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing team of colleagues at our customer site, Dayton Children's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, to provide outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to help them achieve improved clinical outcomes. We are looking for a motivated pharmacist to start a diabetes disease state management program at Dayton Children's Hospital with a goal of improving patient compliance, outcomes, and communication. Schedule: This full time, exempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm. About the Facility: In June 2017, the eight-story patient tower located in the center of Dayton Children's main campus opened to provide state of the art care for patients. To date, this is the largest project in the hospital's history. In order to build this new building and transform care for kids in the region, hospital leadership made a commitment to remain local with the project. Over 90 percent of the project was completed by local vendors, showcasing our commitment to the people, families and sustainability of our region. Our founders were pioneers who were inspired to create a local, specialized facility to serve the needs of our community's children. Today we are continuing to look for ways to be pioneers and go above and beyond in patient care. All with kids at the center of everything we do. CPS Solutions LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions LLC. About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Required Qualifications: Advanced degree or Board Certification (e. g. PharmD, M.S., Board Certification in a subspecialty) Licensed to practice, or the ability to become licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Ohio The energy and willingness to be hands-on and do whatever is required to provide the best care to our patients The ability to start from scratch, execute quickly and accurately without pre-defined processes and protocols, and an interest in defining such processes and protocols for the future Strong people skills and the ability to work with teams across various clinics and health system partners The ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside the organization Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Calendar And bonus points if you have: Experience as an Ambulatory Clinical Specialist in a specialty disease setting and the ability to work across multiple specialties Proficiency in multiple EMR systems such as EPIC, Cerner or Meditech Proficiency with dispensing systems such as QS1, RX30, Computer Rx etc. along with experience in pharmacy dispensing PGY2 Residency in Specialty Pharmacy Here's what we'd like to offer to you: A driver's seat position transforming how specialty pharmacy services are delivered to the most complex patients, to improve their overall experience and outcomes A platform to meaningfully leverage and further develop your (healthcare) technology, leadership, and management s
