LINQUEST CORPORATION Acquisition Program Manager in Dayton, Ohio

Description LinQuest is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager to join our team in Dayton, OH or Hanscom AFB. US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance required. The mission of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) is to deliver an integrated Battle Network to provide resilient decision advantage enabling USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition forces to beat the pacing challenge. The PEO is responsible for: * C3BM Architecture and System Engineering: Responsible for the technical integrity of the DAF C3BM system of systems - for designing and engineering the DAF's Battle Network o Build the DAF Battle Network blueprint required to beat the 2030 pacing challenge o Integrate DAF C3BM programs to delivery timely, intermediate DAF Battle Network capabilities * C3BM Acquisition: Deliver core DAF Battle Network components integrating USAF and USSF C3 programs to provide resilient decision advantage o C3BM Integration: Deliver integrated C3 capability across the DAF to enable JADC2 and meet coalition requirements o USAF Portfolio: Integrate C3BM programs across PEO Digital, PEO C3I&N, DAF RCO, and ABMS o USSF Portfolio: Integrate C3BM programs across PEO BMC3, SDA, Space RCO, and NRO This posting is for a position as the chief of a Director's Action Group / Program Executive's Group responsible for executive communications, preparation for senior leader engagements, assisting with development of acquisition strategies, overall program management and any studies or projects that assist the executive in the execution of their duties. The candidate should have a knowledge of defense acquisition regulations and experience in the DoD acquisition processes. Strong leadership and communication skills are required. Must possess critical thinking skills and be solution oriented to assist the executive in the day to day operations of a key Department of the Air Force program office. Required Skills & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field * Acquisition program experience * Leadership - able to lead teams getting the best out of every team member ensuring tasks are performed on time and to standard as well as motivating team members to perform at a very high level * Communications - clear communicator in either written or verbal form; able to clearly articulate complex concepts in simple, understandable, concise language for decision makers and senior leaders * Critical thinking - able to decompose problems, formulate solutions and execute those solutions in a time constrained environment * Technical understanding - able to understand technical details of programs and technologies associated with command, control, communications and battle management * Practical knowledge of defense acquisition regulations and processes Preferred Skills & Experience: * Extensive Acquisition program management experience * Engineering skills - systems engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills Why LinQuest?
