Hours:7:00am-3:00pm; 3:00pm-11:00pm; 11:00pm-7:00am
QPS Employment Group has a great Production opportunity available at a company in Davenport, IA. This position has 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available with the opportunity for hire.
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling. - Understand specs of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings. - Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. - Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. - Setup machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. - Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. - Correctly login tools. - Ensure paperwork and tools stay together. - Make sure product is free from burns, dirt, and grime. - Coordinate coating runs. - Monitor coaters to make sure running properly. - Accurately pick/pull orders from inventory. - Package and label tools as needed. - Make boxes as needed. - Pull supplies from upper mezzanine for packaging. - Perform inspections of purchased parts or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or vision systems. - Perform repetitive/routine visual and dimensional checks of product. - Recommend rework or reject finished products as required. - Accurately document results of inspections. - Prepare documentation on product for review by supervisors.
Production Requirements: - Must be able to use hands and fingers frequently to finger, handle, or touch. - Occasionally required to stand, walk, and to talk. - Required to frequently pick up 15lbs or less. - Occasionally required to pick up to 25lbs or less. - Requires high school diploma/GED/commensurate experience.
