We are looking for several Warehouse Operators to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Darlington Logistic Centre.
This is a 1-month contract working 37.5 hours per week across 3 rotational shift patterns. You must be able to commit to all the shifts below.
Days – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00
Backs – Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 Friday 14:00 – 19:10
Nights – Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
Salary is £26,651.78 plus shift premium.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under some supervision you will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods within a warehouse.
Receive incoming goods and check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.
Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Utilises warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
Receive / Pick / Pack / Ship a variation of Cummins product.
Good written/oral communication skills.
Works well within a team
Operate within several business unit teams.
Full training will be provided.
