Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Lab Service Rep to join our Lab team!

The Laboratory Service Rep is responsible for the proper collection and allocation of laboratory specimens in an environment that optimizes patient safety, and the accurate processing of patient demographic information and test orders. The position is also responsible to ensure the accurate and complete demographic and financial information of all laboratory customers. The lab service rep is responsible for all lab inquiries, receipt, allocation and preparation of specimens. The position is responsible for the retrieval and distribution of laboratory information for all patient, hospital, and physician customers of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. And also, for the printing and distribution of all cumulative inpatient reports as well as for all Emergency Department and Outpatient reports.
Requirements:
High School diploma/Equivalent
Certification in Phlebotomy
Driver's license and insurance for mobile phlebotomy positions
