FirstService Residential Project Coordinator - EV Charging Program in Dania Beach, Florida

FirstService Energy is looking for someone with a passion for the energy industry and strong interpersonal skills. This person will need to build great relationships with internal associates and external stakeholders and be able to articulate complex information concisely. This position will primarily be focusing on our new program, “EV Charging, made simple” and will assist the regional energy advisors with research, communications, administrative, and pre-sales coordination. This position is intended to help drive qualified incoming leads to the advisors and analyze the portfolio for more opportunities. Additional coordination projects with similar tasks will be assigned as time allows.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tracking systems for EV Charging, Made Simple program including; help desk tickets, EV Charging email box, survey requests, Microsoft flows etc.
  • Conduct pre-assessment calls with community stakeholders and provide update and findings memo to regional advisor.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with EV charging partners.
  • Prepare presentations for pre-assessment phase, proposals, and memos for the energy advisors.
  • Assist the advisors with manager and board member follow ups as needed.
  • Work with the accounting team monthly to ensure that projects are billed, and fees are collected promptly.
  • Attend board meetings as requested by the energy advisors.
  • Provide sales reports on a monthly basis to leadership team.
  • Collaborate and act as liaison between clients and properties to understand the needs of the customer and to add value to the clients.
  • Conduct research and inform internal teams on EV charging incentive program and tax rebates as they become available.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure materials are updated and the latest statistics are provided.
  • Develop and coordinate with marketing teams ongoing internal and external trainings on EV Charging, Made Simple programs through webinars or in person events.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and services, develop improvement plans based on customer’s feedback and make recommendations as necessary.
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree (business, sustainability, or another related field).
  • 1-2 year of office work experience preferably in a sales or project coordination role.
  • Excellent organization, planning, motivation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels and Board of Directors.
  • Excellent presentation skills,
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Proficiency researching the Internet.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently, be self-driven and have the ability to plan and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
  • Ability to prepare cost savings analysis.
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements.
  • Positive, accountable, and quick learner.
  • Experience with third-party software's preferred; EPA Portfolio Manager, EnergyCap, Avid Suite, Monday’s.com and ClickUp.
  • Experience in working with utility bill data preferred.
