Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Security Supervisor- $22-$30/Hr in Danbury, Connecticut

Securitas Security Services USA is seeking an experienced and proactive Security Supervisor to join our team.

As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our facilities, ensuring the safety of our employees, visitors, and assets. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in security management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security and detect potential safety hazards or breaches.

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any security incidents or disturbances.

• Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

• Investigate security breaches or incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services in the event of an emergency or security threat.

• Maintain accurate records of security activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and employee attendance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred).

• Law enforcement, fire fighter, first responder, emergency management experience preferred.

• In lieu of the above: Minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, 2-3 years in a security supervisor role

• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train security personnel effectively.

• Proficiency in using surveillance and access control systems.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Valid security license or certification as required by state regulations.

• First Aid/CPR and AED certification

• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams. Computer Knowledge

• Strong leadership skills
