Adecco US, Inc. Accounting Assistant - AR in Danbury, Connecticut

Immediate need Accounting Assistant - AR - for our Danbury, CT, client. 30 hours – Pay rate $28=$30 hr

Accounting – AR Responsibilities will include:

· Respond to questions and to A/R, SD and CS Inquires, request Approvals on Deductions and follow up

· Review Credit Applications – run Credit Check, prepare, send and follow up Trade/Bank requests

· Cash Application – apply check to account, clear invoices paid

· Research unclassified deductions – pulling Backup checking emails for backup and customers portal; verify type of deductions

· Dispute shortages/fines -pull supporting documents, send to CS, dispute those shortages

Skill and Experience Requirements :

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in similar role

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting a plus but not required

  • Previous exp in retail food industry – strongly preferred

  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

  • MS Word, Excel – proficient, Outlook

  • Ability to work independently

Danbury, CT location

Hours – 30 hours per week done between - 8am – 5pm – Mon – Fri

Pay rate $28 - $30 hr

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
