WR Systems Computer Engineer, Lead in Dam Neck, Virginia
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start
Travel Requirements : Negligible
Location: Dam Neck, VA
SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for a Computer Engineer, Lead to be proficient in computer programming, systems design and computer related product and component development.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Design hardware systems and components using blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
· Collaborate with government team to build and install components.
· Test and evaluate hardware systems and ensure seamless integration of programs and applications.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
· Six (6) + years of professional experience in the research, design, develop, and testing of computer systems.
· Three (3) years of full-time professional experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping of requirements or Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping of requirements.
· Understanding of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).
· Knowledge of US NAVY Shipboard Sensor Distribution Systems, SPQ15, and AN/SPA-25J systems preferred.
