Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Dallastown, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist to set-up, operate, or program various types of machines for the production of piece parts for materials ensuring quality and integrity at the lowest possible cost. You will receive instructions verbally and from detailed prints and routings, requiring you to perform operations such as boring, milling, drilling, and more. You will also assist with the construction of fixtures, jigs, and the maintenance of machine shop equipment. Your role is crucial in achieving daily production goals through efficient machine setups and operations.

Skills

  • Set Up CNC Milling Machines (Primarily 3 Axis)

  • First part inspections

  • Basic G&M Code Edits (Speed and Feed)

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T data

  • Experience with Fadal, Haas, and Matsuura CNC machines

  • Familiarity with FANUC control

SHIFT

2nd M-F 3p-11p, 3rd Sun-Th 11p-7a

Training will likely be 1st Shift M-F 7am to 3pm for a few weeks

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallastown, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

You will work in a large manufacturing facility primarily in the Machine Shop, which is not fully climate-controlled but maintained neat and clean. The facility operates with continuous air flow, making it cooler during evening and night shifts.
