CityVet Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition in Dallas, United States

JOB SUMMARY

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at CityVet, you will play a critical role in leading our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) recruiting team and driving recruitment efforts across CityVet locations. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain top veterinary professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

· Directly manage and mentor the DVM recruiting team, ensuring the successful execution of recruitment strategies and initiatives.

· Partner with Business Development, Marketing, and Operations leadership teams to understand talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.

· Implement employer branding initiatives to position CityVet as an employer of choice in the veterinary industry.

· Provide leadership and guidance in all aspects of talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

· Leverage hiring data and recruitment metrics to analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize our recruitment strategies.

· Serve as a strong communicator and motivator, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

· Take a strategic approach to talent acquisition, understanding the broader business objectives while also diving into the details to support the team as needed.

· Balance strategic thinking with hands-on involvement to drive results.

· Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the talent acquisition function.

· Develop innovative solutions to recruitment challenges and implement scalable processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a recruiting team.

· Proven track record of leveraging hiring data and metrics to drive recruitment strategies and decision-making.

· Strong communicator with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a team of recruiters.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize big-picture objectives and translate them into actionable recruitment plans.

· Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous optimization and innovation in talent acquisition practices.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

· Flexibility to travel, both planned on short notice when needed
