Test Technician - Cockrell Hill, Tx

Job Description
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for utilizing power measuring tools to test electronic equipment. You will work with various tools, including DVMs, calibrators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, frequency counters, phase meters, and computer-based test programs. You must be proficient in reading electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures and will use engineering manuals in a clean room environment. Your role will involve testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment down to the component level.
Responsibilities
Utilize power measuring tools to test electronic equipment
Read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures
Use engineering manuals for guidance in a clean room environment
Test and troubleshoot electronic equipment down to the component level
Operate various tools such as DVMs, calibrators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, frequency counters, and phase meters
Essential Skills
Experience in electronic troubleshooting
Proficiency in reading electronic schematics
Familiarity with DVMs, calibrators, oscilloscopes, and power supply equipment
Ability to troubleshoot electronic components at a detailed level
Experience with assembly and repair of electronic equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No engineering degree required, but a degree in Electronics offers better pay
Knowledge of testing electronic equipment
Ability to read electronic schematics and engineering manuals
Experience with both digital and analog circuitry
Strong customer service skills
Fluency in relevant technical language

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.50
