Position Title: System Development Engineer II

Location: Dallas, Texas

Position Responsibilities:

Building the tools, operations, and workflow processes that underlay in-house and 3rd party applications used by field teams. Working closely with multiple teams focused on data engineering, analytics, orchestration, and security to build highly scalable systems. Collaborating with security teams to identify requirements and translate that into capabilities of the application for the customer. Plan and implement any upgrade and patching activities that occur in our systems. Deploying new services for the organization. Establishing security guidelines in cooperation with security team. Tracking vendor features/functions. Developing run books and standards. Working with development teams on automation of tools. Diving deep into application and environmental problems. Enhancing performance of overall system.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and three years of experience as a System Development Engineer or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept five years of experience as a System Development Engineer or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: • Working with Windows Server and its underlying technologies including Active Directory, DNS Management, and IIS Management; • Using Windows troubleshooting tools including Windows Debugger, Performance Monitor, Windows Performance Analyzer/Windows Performance Recorder, and Resource Monitor; • Experience in systems patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting; • Applying networking and network troubleshooting concepts including Load Balancers, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Telnet, and tracert; • Using PowerShell or Python; • Installing and managing third party software. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $143,666/ year to $174,800/year
