The Senior Accountant handles a wide range of tasks, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Top-notch analytical skills are vital to the duties of this position. A full-time role, this position include excellent compensation and benefits. You will also have the possibility of growth.

What you get to do every day

  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

  • Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

  • Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

  • Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting

  • Inventory analysis experience required

  • Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Proficient in ERP systems

  • Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

  • Able to manage time well

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
