GAF Specialty Product Support Coordinator in Dallas, Texas

Team Summary

Siplast, a brand of GAF Commercial, offers a uniquely segmented and dedicated portfolio of building enclosure solutions for the commercial construction market. The Specialty Product Support Coordinator is part of our dedicated Siplast team. This position is based in Addison, TX and will work typically a hybrid 3:2 in office schedule. Job Summary

The Specialty Product Support Coordinator is accountable for a variety of functions related to sales and product support,. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Technical/Guarantee Services.

Essential Duties

  • Provide project quotes for speciality products to include but not limited to: PA-311 series adhesive (totes), PA-1000 SEBS asphalt, expanded polystyrene insulation (flat and taper) used as conventional roofing insulation, expanded polystyrene geofoam, extruded polystyrene insulation (flat and tapered) used as conventional roofing insulation and above membrane in green/amenity configurations, VIP systems, Rockwool insulation (flat and tapered), SMTO drains and fasteners/plates, growing media, plant components, non-standard blue and purple roof components, pavers and paver accessories, ballasted insulation, artificial turf and accessories, custom produced thermoplastic accessories

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to obtain quotes for specialty products and freight and product availability to streamline the quoting process

  • Maintain database which supports various functions such as project quotes, report writing, and project database information

  • Generate and communicate metrics related to the speciality quoting function to ensure efficiency and accuracy

  • Collaborate with CPQ pricing team and Salesforce developers to ensure the specialty quoting function is accurately represented and maintained with any pricing tools or CRM systems

  • Partner with the Sales organization and Customer Service to facilitate the generation of quotes and ensure smooth order processing

Under This Roof, We Require

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

  • 3+ years office experience Required

  • Basic knowledge of roofing technology including deck design, substrate materials, and membrane technology and other related areas

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication skills both verbal and written, ability to establish and maintain business relationships

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
