Job Title: Sheetmetal Technician Senior
Job Type: Full Time; Contract
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Weekend Day Shift
Pay Rate: $33.81 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Proficiency: Use complex schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment on aircraft.
Mentorship: Mentor and train other Sheetmetal Technicians, ensuring quality control standards are maintained.
Project Oversight: Manage projects and oversee other technicians, ensuring all materials and documentation are aligned with task requirements.
Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of shop equipment safely and efficiently, including brakes, presses, and riveting equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal and FAA regulations, participating in audits and maintaining safety and 5S standards.
Continuous Improvement: Engage in and lead continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum four (4) years of sheetmetal and/or fabrication experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Certifications: Valid Driver's License required; familiarity with FAA regulations is a plus.
Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical: Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in confined spaces.

Pay Details: $33.81 per hour
