ARAMARK Replenishment Buyer in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

This position is responsible for inventory replenishment and service levels for Union Supply Group. The Replenishment Buyer is responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability for Union Supply Group?s wholesale and direct to inmate replenishment. Manages targeted in stock position for all assigned suppliers and/or categories to provide efficient service to internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for order placement and inventory level functions with multi-category focus. Ensures compliance with company's procurement process and replenishment KPIs. Manages the day-to-day activities of inventory replenishment to ensure effective replenishment decisions and mitigate backorders, excess inventory and/or stock outs. Works closely with Sales, Category Management and Distribution to ensure the highest service to Union Supply Group customers.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Elevated ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy, fast paced environment.

  • Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions with minimal support.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • High ability to make decisions under pressure.

  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional team

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.

  • At least two years? experience in a replenishment buyer role.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management, customer service, and vendor management.

  • Experience with Purchasing and ERP systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
