Job Description

We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to work in our Dallas, TX location. This Production supervisor will be the Process Optimization SME for the Factory and is responsible for the end-to-end planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources for two water bottling production lines (equipment, people, materials, and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets with complete ownership as agreed with Production Management. This is an exempt position providing support for a 24/7 operating facility. We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary, annual bonus, and full benefits.

Work schedule: Day shift Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Optimizes KPIs by implementing, supporting and leading lean and continuous improvement activities focused on operational improvements

• Identify and implement sustainable process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.

• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement lean manufacturing principles

• Promote and facilitate workflow analysis and optimize/implement standard work to achieve improvement priorities.

• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

• Ensure Safety Standards are executed by all associates with Safety being the leading topic at all meetings with associates.

• Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in the area.

• Review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Top Losses daily and ensuring action plans are focused on correcting the Top Losses

• Support the Operations Manager on all key deliverables of the business.

• Ensure Daily Operational Reviews are executed at a high level with engagement from all responsible associates.

• Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements.

• Ownership of Weekly Staffing of shift responsible for with focus on building competency across the team

• Work directly with Technical Resource and Line Owners on key actions to drive business results.

• Lead problem solving events with cross functional team members to effectively and efficiently eliminate losses.

• Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently

• Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• Two to five years of experience in a supervisory capacity with line ownership required

• Four-year degree preferred not required

• Understanding of processes and mechanics of line equipment

• Understanding of Safety Standards and ability to enforce those requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving ability.

• SAP and PC Skills including MS excel and Word

• Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulation

• Cost awareness of operations

• Ability to multi-task and delegate

• Effective communication skills

• Proven track record of developing employees.

HOW TO STAND OUT:

• Process improvement expertise

• Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and present complex data clearly

• Strong ability to coach and develop work teams 10• Food & beverage industry experience

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Methodology

• Food & beverage industry experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fundamental knowledge and experience working in production/manufacturing process improvement techniques, including SQDCI, OTD, TPS and Kaizen methodologies and activities

• Proven experience collaborating and building interdepartmental relationship
