AandM's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice, with offices throughout the US, focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged AandM to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. The companies we serve are upper middle market in the $50 million to $1 billion plus range.

AandM's Operations professionals assist our clients in analyzing manufacturing operations, supply chain and distribution channels, procurement, SGandA operations and sales force effectiveness for potential value creation opportunities and to help drive them during our Client's ownership. From our thorough fact-based analysis, we assess state of operations, identify key risks to investment and quantify potential EBITDA improvement plans for the buyer and seller.

The PEPI Operations group is a growing business targeting high growth in the next two to four years. We offer excellent opportunities for career advancement and build leadership skills. Responsibilities:

We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies. Senior Associates frequently assist with the following types of engagements:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target's manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability
  • Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities
  • Review current and historical data to understand efficiency and capacity, including equipment conditions, maintenance logs, spare parts and detailed production numbers
  • Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers and reviewing all available data
  • Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities
  • Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies
  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 plus years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions
  • Deep functional expertise in at least one of the following areas:

``` - Supply Chain Operations - Manufacturing Operations, SIandOP - Footprint optimization, plant consolidation and product line transfer - Manufacturing strategy, CapEx planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT - Lean, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Enginee ing

  • Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis

The salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, AandM offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez and Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, ADandD, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez and Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
