Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Dallas, Texas

Description

Growing company in North Dallas has a terrific opportunity for a Payroll Administrator with 5+ years experience. We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage the payroll process for approximately 1000 employees across multiple states and entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, particularly utilizing ADP Run, and a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple entities and states using ADP Run.

  • Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, wages, bonuses, and other compensation.

  • Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.

  • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure proper documentation for new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status.

  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Generate payroll reports and provide analysis as needed for management and other stakeholders.

  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

  • Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate recording of payroll transactions in the general ledger.

  • Provide support and assistance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.

  • 4 + years multistate and multi-entity payrollrequired

  • Must have experience with ADP

  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.
