Texas Health Resources Nurse Practitioner, Exercise Physiology Lab - Full Time, 40 Hours in Dallas, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner to join the Exercise Physiology Lab.

The address is Texas Health Dallas, 7232 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, 75231.

Salary: Min $50.10 – Max $71.29, based on relevant work experience.


• Full-Time, 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

As a Nurse Practitioner with Texas Health Dallas , this position will utilize principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions.

The essential duties of this position are:

• Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings

• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care

• Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients

• Initiates actions to meet patients/families needs

• Takes actions to reduce patients risks

• Performs specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficiently

• Produces documentation that initiates, follows, and revises patients' plan of care

• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care

• Focuses on adherence to clinical pathways, protocols, and policies to ensure high reliability of clinical program

• Promotes population health through the evaluation of care delivery models as they pertain to community, environmental, cultural and socio-economical dimensions of health.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program required

•Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program required

•2 Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner Preferred

•Experience in Exercise and/or Cardiovascular Preferred

•RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required And

•APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire required And

•NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire required And

•BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required And

•ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required


• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
