Job Overview

This position will lead a structured QEHSFS strategy for the on time and successful introduction of Quality and food safe KDP products for both internal and external bottling partners in the Cold network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define scope of projects and align resources based on food safety and quality requirements by attending cross functional innovation meetings as voice of process for QEHS.

  • Direct innovation team to SME’s as determined by project requirements. Work directly with quality operations on driving quality testing plans for new testing requirements with regards to new product innovations.

  • Attend Cold Beverage Stage Gate as voice of process for QEHSFS. Align expectations to current manufacturing/technical environment to guide business partners to process.

  • Collaborate with R&D as Quality Stakeholder on consistent beverage formula rollout, and defining requirements for specific manufacturers (copackers, franchise bottlers). Serve as Quality formula approver for QEHS.

  • Collaborate with Beverage Concentrate group as a Quality Stakeholder on alignment of available or new concentrate offerings for producers, delivering optimization project communication, and coordinating timing of concentrate ordering within project requirements.

  • Create technical communications to inform internal and external manufacturing and business partners of new launches or changes to existing products. Aligning with cross functional teams to develop requirements for technical communication (includes BC concentrate planning, IMO, Supply Chain Project Management, graphics, and master data).

  • Direct KDP Field Tech Services to trigger technical documentation dispersal. Act as SME for formulations of record in department database.

  • Work with Laboratory Services Group to coordinate laboratory system set up of specifications for product sampling.

  • Track DSD/WD projects to deliver metrics report out to QEHS leadership.

    Other Necessary Functions:

  • Follow all policies, procedures, and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP).

  • Travel requirements: Less than 5%

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Life Sciences, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Quality Project Management or technical environment in the food and beverage industry working with new innovations and launches.

  • Proven track record of implementing and influencing change across organization.

  • Technical writing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse functions.

  • Position may require periodic travel.

  • Able to work within a cross-functional team environment. Facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of KDP product portfolio a bonus.

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Infor Optiva.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
