We are disrupting the status quo of Business to Business (B2B) by delivering new, efficient purchasing and service solutions to individual proprietors, to small-medium businesses, to global organizations (and everything in between). The AB Third Party (AB3P) team enables our 3P sellers to better service the wide range of business customers with the right selection, at sharp prices, delivered per customer expectations. Our Marketing team is seeking an exceptional Marketing Manager to own lifecycle marketing programs to improve seller awareness, adoption, and ongoing engagement with B2B features. You will develop and test promotion, content and communications strategies/campaigns for various seller segments across a variety of channels including email and social. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnerships with marketing, product, BI, legal, and finance leaders. This role requires an analytical marketer with a strong sense for methods to align AB3P offerings to 3P Seller objectives, while constantly adjusting based on industry trends and feedback from sellers. You will help define the channel marketing strategy to drive 3P sellers to take the right actions.

The ideal candidate has experience leveraging data to gain insights and solve problems, an eye for design, experience with content strategy, and technical email development skills. You will bring your proven creative, analytical, and strategic capabilities to implement and optimize compelling campaigns that deliver results. You think strategically and execute flawlessly. You understand data workflows, segmentation, automation and personalization, and testing best practices. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, is metrics and data driven, and has a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. You will build and inspire a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture in our team, creating a measurable impact across Amazon Business.

This role can be based in one of the following locations: Seattle, WA or New York, NY

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a lifecycle marketing strategy for AB3P to drive seller adoption and engagement of B2B features by developing cross-channel strategy, identifying customer segments, and key messages

  • Build, test, and optimize engagement programs, making continuous improvements based on performance, trends, insights; regularly report out metrics

  • Execute marketing campaigns across a variety of channels (e.g. email, webinar, website, social) to effectively communicate with the right target audiences at the right time

  • Deep dive into existing marketing automation workflows and brainstorm opportunities to optimize performance and seller experience

  • Collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder teams—including Product, Sales, Program Management, International teams, Legal—to achieve business goals

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Experience with Pardot Engagement Studio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
