Job Description:

We are currently on the lookout for an organized, detail-oriented Grant & Contract Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing both grant and contracts administration throughout the lifecycle from the pre-award phase through the closeout phase. This includes applying for funding, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions, monitoring project progress, and maintaining comprehensive and precise records.

Responsibilities:

  • Review both grant proposal and contract opportunities and examine requirements, deliverables, and budgetary stipulations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, sponsors, and partners to prepare and present precise and comprehensive proposals or contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and grant obligations.

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met, and report to relevant parties.

  • Audit financial and performance reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist in the negotiation of contract and grant terms and agreements.

  • Provide advice and guidance to project managers and other staff about contractual issues.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate budget allocation and spend in line with the grant/contract terms.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of the grant contracts over its lifecycle.

  • Handle closeout processes and ensuring all contractual obligations have been met.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in grants and contracts administration.

  • Knowledge of federal regulations related to grants and contracts.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant/contract management software.
