Responsible for managing and directing the supply chain powerplant programs team while leading an integrated team that helps to significantly improve the overall functioning of the Tech Ops organization.
What you'll do
Leads supply chain powerplant programs team
Controls powerplant asset management, including the maintenance, leasing, and disposition of aircraft engines
Controls the budgets and costs for powerplant programs
Coordinates with external and internal maintenance providers to optimize resources
Develops and produces reporting and analysis on powerplant maintenance provider performance
Manages relationships with external suppliers and oversees supplier performance
Uses statistical tools to forecast powerplant removal and demand volumes
Produces periodic reports on near- and long-term forecasts for powerplant maintenance costs and volumes
Coordinates with functional analytical resources in the various supply chain departments
Identifies and leads the future focus of work and team member/leader readiness
Leads management staff to ensure that employees’ skills are utilized to the best of their abilities
Provides managers regular feedback on their performance and develop the management team to create a strong leadership succession bench
Conducts regular meetings with management staff to ensure effective communication
Coordinates with IT and the TESS project team to support TESS, as required
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation related field, or equivalent knowledge / experience
7 years of progressive leadership experience, overseeing large workgroups with cross-functional teams, as well as managing and coaching teams
10 years of work experience in an area related to supply chain systems and functionality
Aviation experience is required

Previous experience leading and implementing large-scale cross functional projects

Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Knowledge of SharePoint, Cognos software and other report development technologies
