Description We are offering a role as a Database Administrator in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be part of our tech team, working in the telecom industry. You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the security of our databases, and will also have a crucial role in the development, testing, and troubleshooting of databases.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and use of databases within the company

• Implement and test database design and functionality

• Use Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle R2 to manage and manipulate databases

• Utilize EO/IR systems for database administration

• Design and implement strategies to ensure the security and integrity of the company's databases

• Use Backup Technologies to secure data and prevent loss

• Perform Configuration Management to ensure system consistency and functionality

• Regularly review and update databases to ensure their accuracy and efficiency

• Resolve database-related issues and troubleshoot problems

• Monitor system performance and identify and rectify inefficiencies Requirements • Proficiency in Database Management and Administration

• Demonstrated experience with EO/IR systems

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle

• Familiarity with R2 and other database tools

• Proficiency in Backup Technologies

• Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and best practices

• Experience in Database Design and Implementation

• Ability to develop and implement strategies for database optimization

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Familiarity with industry standards and trends in Database Administration

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly
