Robert Half Data Scientist Manager in Dallas, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist Manager in the service industry, located in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will utilize your skills in advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to design, develop, and implement innovative AI solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and also provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Lead AI initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI solutions.
• Understand the data science lifecycle, with experience in the development and implementation of statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements, translating these into actionable data and modeling recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and mentor development teams, data scientists, and engineers in implementing best practices for AI solution development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, data science, cloud computing, and related technologies, demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning.
• Foster a positive team culture that encourages open communication among all team members.
• Participate in the creation and rollout of training, creating development opportunities for team members.
• Show interest in preparing client proposals and strategies to win new business.
• Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Utilize skills such as Apache Spark, Database, Data Science, EO/IR systems, HDFS, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, AWS Technologies, Cluster Analysis. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Science role is required.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark is mandatory.
• The candidate must have solid experience in Database management.
• A strong background in Data Science is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in EO/IR systems are required.
• The ability to work with HDFS is crucial.
• Proven experience in Algorithm Implementation is needed.
• The candidate should possess strong analytical skills.
• Experience in Apache Hadoop is a must.
• Familiarity with AWS Technologies is required.
