Texas Health Resources Clinical Pharmacist (Part Time, Evenings) in Dallas, Texas

Clinical Pharmacist (Part Time) – Pharmacy Department

Fast-paced, high volume Pharmacy Department is looking for top skilled Clinical Pharmacist’s. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231

Work hours: Part Time – 24 hours per week, evening shifts; every other weekend and some holiday staffing required.

Pharmacy Department highlights:

· Pharmacists are key members of the healthcare team actively participating in emergent bedside care (stokes, level I traumas, and code blues)

Here’s What You Need

· Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. Required

· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

· No experience required, but 1-2 years hospital experience is preferred.

· PHAR – Pharmacist License Upon Hire Required

Skills

· Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills

· Computer proficient and possess basic math skills.

What You Will Do

· Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

· Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

· Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

· Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.

· Ongoing professional development and growth.

· Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

· Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

· Other duties as assigned.
