Description
Robert Half is looking for a Backend Developer with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience to support a Marinas client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development technologies, with a strong proficiency in C#, .Net Core/Standard, and modern frameworks such as Azure and Angular (version 6+). As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions that power our applications and services.
Location: Multiple locations - 100% remote
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours a week)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop scalable and efficient backend systems using industry-standard technologies.
Implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.
Integrate with front-end frameworks to deliver seamless user experiences.
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
Work closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality and stability of the backend codebase.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.
Requirements
3+ years of industry experience as a Software Developer.
Proficient in C#, .Net Core/Standard.
Hands-on development experience with industry-standard backend frameworks and technologies.
Experience with modern frameworks such as Azure and Angular (version 6+).
Experience working with a variety of databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB).
Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android).
Strong understanding of modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery).
Experience working in an agile software development environment.
AA or BS in Computer Science or relatable work experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
