TEKsystems Application Support/Production Support Analyst (W2 ONLY) in Dallas, Texas

*3 days onsite in Dallas, TX area

Description:

Our financial client is seeking a dedicated Production Support Admin to join their technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 3 support, managing support ticketing systems, and utilizing tools like Splunk and AppDynamics to ensure the stability and performance of their technology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Level 3 Support:

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical issues.

  • Manage and resolve Level 3 support tickets in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to address and resolve issues.

Monitoring & Incident Management:

  • Utilize Splunk and AppDynamics to monitor application performance and system health.

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues and system outages.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts.

Root Cause Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring issues.

  • Document findings and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

  • Provide detailed incident reports and post-mortem analysis.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless support and issue resolution.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on ticket status and resolution timelines.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

  • Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in production support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production support or a similar role.

Strong experience with Splunk and AppDynamics for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in managing support ticketing systems.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin, AppDynamics Certified Implementation Professional) are a plus.
