CTG Application Architect Quality Engineering in Dallas, Texas
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect Quality Engineering opening for our client in Dallas, TX.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 11 months
Duties:
Lead the design and implementation of quality engineering practices and application architecture.
Oversee the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and ensure they align with business needs.
Drive the selection and implementation of automation tools and technologies, ensuring their integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Manage and mentor a team of test automation engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Contribute to the creation of automated test scripts using Playwright or equivalent tools.
Ensure effective version control through Git/GitHub or equivalent tools.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to testing processes and automation frameworks.
Provide technical expertise and leadership in Agile SDLC environments.
Skills:
Expertise in Playwright automation tool or equivalent (e.g., Selenium).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation integration.
Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub or similar code management tools.
Excellent team leadership skills with a proven ability to manage test automation projects.
Experience in Agile methodologies and fast-paced development environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
5+ years of experience successfully working in test automation development.
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team in a test automation environment.
Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools (such as Playwright, Selenium, etc.).
Strong background in Agile SDLC and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
