Job Title: AP SpecialistJob Description

As an AP Specialist, you will handle fast-paced accounts payable duties with a focus on efficiency due to net terms of less than 10 days. Your responsibilities will include processing all freight invoices, verifying invoices and routing them for coding or approval, processing check requests, matching, batching, coding invoices, and performing 3-way matches with purchase orders. You will also review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies, ensure payments are up to date, and maintain files and documentation accurately. Additionally, you will assist in month-end closing, handle audit inquiries, manage phone calls and correspondences related to A/P, maintain 1099s, and perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role requires working fully in office with a direct team of 4 people and within a larger AP team of 17 people. The work setting involves working at cubicles in the office.
