Advancial Title Clerk in Dallas, TX, Texas
Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring all liens are fully secured for automobile and recreational loans funded with Advancial. Responsible for confirming all essential documentation for each loan is obtained from external and internal sources, as well as the ongoing tracking and maintenance of title records. Provide superior service by communicating professionally with dealers, members, sellers and Advancial staff, and responding to requests in a timely manner. Responsible for staying informed and up to date on in and out of state title processing changes, including state and internal form changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processes title work to perfect Advancial’s lien for automobile and recreational vehicles financed with the Credit Union.
Works directly with branch staff, back-office teams, dealerships, members and state offices to obtain the necessary documentation for securing Advancial’s lien.
Utilizes the Title Tracking System and Symitar to update records on title work and diligently follows up on outstanding documentation.
Diligently follows up on all title exceptions (liens not perfected within thirty days of booking).
Works with indirect dealer representatives to assist with indirect dealer titling issues as needed.
Prepares Release of Lien forms as necessary and provides to the appropriate members and/or third-party institutions.
Processes title and registration cases received through PRISM. Requests include, but are not limited to: fee estimate requests, lien releases, and title research.
Releases the Credit Union’s lien and processes requests to mail titles for paid in full loans through FDI Dealertrack. Monitors and maintains record of daily loan payoffs.
Works with Asset Management and insurance companies to process Letter of Guarantee requests for total loss claims.
Processes drafting requests by verifying lien perfection document(s) and issues payment to dealers and other financial institutions.
Stays up-to-date on all state DMV forms, laws, processes and regulations as it relates to vehicle titles, registration, and fees.
Cross trains and assists with other Title Management duties as needed or assigned by the Title Manager.
The salary range for this position is $20.12-$25.15/hr. and based on experience.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
