SAP IT Technology Services Senior Specialist - Japanese & English in Dalian China, China

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technology consultant with a passion for providing excellent customer support mainly for our Japanese customers base and drive projects around technical services and SAP solutions operated by Enterprise Cloud Services.

What You'll Do:

As a Technology Consultant, you will analyze customers business requirements or technical problem statements and act as a technical advisor and problem solver to clients and our internal stakeholders.

This includes different technical tasks out of the following areas: technical configuration & integration of SAP software, release upgrades, application lifecycle management as well as day to day operations and maintenance of technical SAP landscapes.

In addition, you might also work on changing our system setup guidelines, validating new application, designing work instructions or drive automation initiatives. You will also focus on designing and conducting knowledge transfer to the global Operations community and create technical documentation, incl. technical operational concepts, process flows and guidelines.

What You Bring:

  • 9 to 14 years of experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and Java Basis administration)

  • Bachelors degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies Management

  • Single point of contact for the customer-facing unit regarding ECS delivery topics to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead the EDS alignment call with SPOCs

  • Follow-up with EDS team in case of any delay in ticket processing (action item tracking)

  • Coordination & Escalation handling for EDS customers

  • Reporting and performance review for EDS support (Alert & Incident management, SR)

  • Collect regular feedback from TSM about EDS team performance

  • Support in the coordination of activities with different teams TechOps

  • Hands-on basis administration experience with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector or Business Objects solutions

  • Good background in software architecture and cloud technology

  • Good knowledge in SAP Business Technology Platform

  • Experience with SAP HANA 2.0 and HANA XSA is an advantage

  • Experience in ITIL and IT Service Management processes

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)

  • Japanese (Fluent written & spoken)

You should have very good analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as very good communication, presentation, and networking skills. Working effectively in international and virtual teams should be something you are used to do.
