Aerotek Shipping And Receiving Material Handler in Daleville, Indiana
Job Description:
Under semi-direct supervision, receive, identify, inspect, tally, and complete necessary record work in connection with unloading or shipping materials and supplies in the operation of a Distribution Center, and perform associated work
Handling transmission and substation equipment using Frontend loaders, Telehandlers, All-Terrain Vehicles, and Forklifts
Prepare material for shipment or storage; identify and record salvaged material returned; usable material in stock; assist in performing inventory counts
Perform paper or computer work necessary for unattended storerooms
All work will be performed according to the client's procedures, practices, and safety rules
Requirements:
Must have Forklift/Equipment Operation Experience
Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations for receiving, issuing, storing, and recording materials and supplies
Must be able to perform clerical, inventory, and accounting work in an accurate and efficient manner
Willing to submit to a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check
Work Environment
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00 am-3:30 pm
Dress Code/PPE: Steel Toe Boots are required. Jeans and T-shirts with no inappropriate words or pictures can be worn. All other PPE is provided. If you wear eyeglasses, side shields are required (not provided).
Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, in a team of 2-3.
