RMC is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to support a Hybrid Cloud environment in Dahlgren, VA.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in network design and implementation, in large multi-platform environments.
Five (5) years’ experience in deploying various network configurations, devices, software and services that provide maximum and efficient performance local (LANs) and wide area network (WANs).
Five (5) years’ experience collaborating with multiple teams to evaluate and update configurations, hardware, software and other deployments to assure environments are optimal and consistent with short- and long-term strategy.
Five (5) years’ experience in creating and maintaining documentation of the network.
Three (3) years’ experience in providing assurance to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks.
Three (3) years’ experience in troubleshooting and supporting computer solutions, associated software and hardware, network, server, and PC, as relating to network infrastructure.
Two (2) years’ experience in performing hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
Extensive knowledge and experience in network configuration and network security. Including configuration and management of network switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and routers. Prefer knowledge and experience with Juniper and Cisco.
Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
Required Education/Professional Certifications:
CompTIA Sec+ or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA/Security (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level II or higher certification)
Azure Network Engineer Associate
Juniper Network Expert (JNCIE-ENT) or Cisco Expert (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure) Certification
