TEKsystems OSP Directional Bore Operator in Dade City, Florida
Description:
TEKsystems is in need of a OSP Directional Bore Operator for our client in the Dade City, FL market. This client's communications infrastructure group has consistently grown and taken on market share across the DMV supporting all types of telecommunications customers.
With the continuous industry initiatives around capacity and bandwidth demand they are consistently receiving requests form carriers, MSO's, etc. to expand their lines of business/geographical footprint.
Most recently, they have won a lot of work within the Florida footprint relating back to raw land (greenfield) fiber deployment construction builds.
This Operator will be working with a 3 man crew to perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration.
The crew is made up of a CPM, foreman, and operator.
They need to have solid experience working/maintaining on a directional Bore.
They use the Vermeer brand and feel confident maneuvering around underground placements.
They also need to be able to provide direction to get the rest of the job done.
This fiber run deployment construction with include a 26 mile run, fiber 288, and 7-way conduit.
Need to get off the drill and help with yard duties as needed.
100% on-site.

"Mixing mud" (drill setup/maintenance)
Reliable, dependable, team-player. (Operator's sole job is not to just operate the drill but to be involved in all team duties to help drive project efficiencies)
Provide daily maintenance to equipment.
Work Ethic, Ability to Drive Company Vehicles, Flexibility, Does not mind working in various weather conditions.
