Fuser/Pipefitter:
As a crucial member of our field crew, the Fuser plays a vital role in constructing, installing, and maintaining piping systems for natural gas utilities. This position is a DOT OQ Gas Pipeline qualified role, requiring expertise in the use of various fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures. The duties of a Fuser can be physically demanding, involving work in an outdoor construction setting.
What Do You Offer Us:
Construct, install, and maintain piping systems for natural gas utilities.
Support the crew by operating equipment and contributing to labor efforts as needed.
Join piping through fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupled joints.
Load and unload equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and safety.
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized worksite, free from unnecessary hazards.
Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
Secure the work site to ensure public safety and the safety of equipment and materials.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Hourly rate ranging from $25.00 to $30.00, based on experience.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent Military service.
A valid Driver’s License.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
