Apple Compliance Engineering team is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for definition, validation and optimization of various regulatory and compliance features essential for regulatory compliance of many cellular & connectivity technologies!

Key Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Wireless technologies, such as 5G FR1, FR2, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth, NFC.

  • Academic background and/or experience in RF electrical engineering, wireless communications, signal processing.

  • Experience with laboratory test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, vector signal generators/analyzers and oscilloscopes.

  • Familiarity with regulatory/industry conformance specifications (radiated, conducted, SAR) for consumer products is a plus.

  • Experience in software development and validation would be a plus.

  • Experience in test automation would be a plus.

  • Familiarity with radiated test methodology, equipment, 3m Chamber, etc. would be a plus.

  • Familiarity with probability and statistics theory would be a plus.

  • Strong technical reporting, presentation and communication skills.

Description

  • Architect, coordinate and perform implementation, validation and optimization of various regulatory and compliance features (both SW and HW) necessary for regulatory compliance. - Validate and optimize engineering algorithms and methods used for regulatory compliance. - Architect the regulatory RF power tables structure for new wireless technologies. - Prepare and release regulatory power tables based on inputs from the cross-functional regulatory teams. - Perform validation and optimization of regulatory power tables incorporated into the SW. - Support Certification of Apple products.

Education & Experience

BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
