As a member of Apple’s People team, you’ll help discover and develop our most important resource: our people. You’ll work within the Talent Management Team and you’ll provide deep expertise across talent architecture, talent planning, performance management, and growth and development, and talent enabling programs — designing our approach, managing end-to-end efforts, building tools and learning, and delivering talent management products to provide an effective and positive experiences for talent at Apple. You’ll partner closely with the Talent Management, Compensation, and People Business Partnering teams and you’ll collaborate strongly cross-functionally across Apple as appropriate.

Description

Design, develop, and implement talent management initiatives for the enterprise, carefully balancing the need for consistency against unique functional needs. Manage organization-wide talent programs and events end-to-end; focus on planning, readiness, enablement, and delivery excellence for a seamless employee experience. Partner closely with Total Rewards and Compensation experts to ensure a highly integrated approach; use your knowledge and expertise in compensation to create alignment and accelerate efforts. Collaborate closely with People Business Partner Leaders and cross-functional partners to implement performance management initiatives and programs across lines of business. Develop programs, tools, materials, and learning initiatives to enable readiness, manage change, create adoption, and instill ownership across the company. Ensure a clear communication strategy is set for any talent programs or products you manage; ensure specific communications are delivered just in time with the clarity needed for the targeted audience. Discover critical areas of focus to improve performance management across the company, and build programs to address gaps. Ensure the talent management programs and products you manage are aligned with our talent philosophy and seamlessly integrated into HR technology, tools, and practices, including the HRIS and people support functions. Measure and report on talent management insights, areas of focus, and recommended actions forward.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 8+ years of HR experience

  • You know talent management inside and out-from design principles and methodology to systems integration and evaluation.

  • You’ve managed org-wide events throughout the talent management lifecycle and enabled readiness for a seamless employee experience.

  • You understand Total Rewards strategies and know compensation concepts, practices, and methodologies.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • You deeply understand the connection between performance management, talent planning, and compensation.

  • You’re analytical and are comfortable conducting analysis in numbers, excel, or other data-analytics tools.

  • You’re familiar with HR tools and technologies, such as Workday, and have experience integrated performance management strategy within the system.

  • You manage projects in a highly organized, structured way — identifying and mitigating risks to best drive results.

Education & Experience

A degree in Organizational Psychology or related field is helpful but not required Master’s or PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology 2+ years of experience working as a specialist in Performance Management or Talent Management programs

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,900 and $250,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
