You will produce key components of the Apple cloud platform and introducing new fundamental capabilities. Your work will power entirely new applications and scale existing ones, such as FaceTime, Push Notifications, iCloud Drive, Photos, and Backup. This is your chance to put a dent in the Universe. Description

We are a high-leverage team designing, building, and growing Apple’s foundational privacy-focused platform enabling many of Apple’s signature apps and experiences. Our work impacts over a billion users and is essential to the success of Apple’s growth in services. As part of the Apple Cloud Platform organization, you will: • Partner with teams across Apple to develop features and functionality to enable new experiences in the Apple ecosystem • Improve the scalability, availability, and performance of our services • Evolve the design and architecture to support continued growth across multiple dimensions • Partner with SRE to triage, investigate, and remediate production issues

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.

  • • Languages: Java, Swift, Golang

  • • Technology: Kubernetes, Cassandra

  • • Knowledge: Security, Cryptography, Privacy, Virtualization, Networking

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
