As a member of the App Store Analytics & Data Engineering group, you will contribute to App Store features and developer-facing products such as App Analytics. You will work with an extraordinary dedicated and versatile team of engineers to drive and deliver scalable, performant, and high quality analytics and data driven services to a wide variety of internal collaborators across Apple and entire app developers ecosystem. We're looking for an experienced hands-on leader who excels in large scale program execution, to partner with data engineering, data science, product, and iOS engineering teams. Description
- Design and develop scalable frameworks and provide technical leadership across multiple teams. - Build and define a roadmap that aligns with efficient utilization of resources, SDLC standard methodologies, and technology modernization goals, then own the execution of these initiatives. - Advocate for industry standard processes and promote internal technological advancements within engineering teams, prioritizing and driving their adoption. - Facilitate multi-functional communication with internal partners and up to the executive leadership, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and that priorities and delivery schedule expectations are managed and aligned with the organizational roadmap. - Nurture positive relationships across Apple, enabling seamless company-wide collaboration and ensuring effective communication among cross-divisional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Over 8 years of experience in architecture or engineering management.
Experience in managing and overseeing data collection, pipelines, tools, and platforms for internal engineering teams, with a focus on driving roadmaps and long-term strategies for internal tools and systems.
Experience in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data and metrics to support assumptions, make recommendations, and drive decisions.
Expertise in distributed systems.
Hard-working, independent, and proactive, with strong creative and critical thinking skills; able to swiftly triage, prioritize, and lead effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus if you have prior experience with privacy-preserving technologies and managing AI/ML based projects.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
